Byzantine Time Traveller was borne out of our passion for Byzantine or Eastern Roman history. Through a combination of digital content, art and merchandise, we aim to make the exciting yet lesser known and often misunderstood history of the Byzantine Empire known to a wider global audience. We started our storytelling journey in 2021 with social media posts, Youtube videos, and special collaborations with other Byzantine history enthusiasts around the world. Since then we have expanded into creating products meant to entertain as well as educate. By developing these, we aim to present the colorful and complex history of the Byzantine Empire in a new light and in ways that can appeal to all.
